A two-day 50k – War at Windrock is an epic adventure of trail running that
recreational athletes, elite runners, and everyone in between will not want to miss.
Nestled in the Coal Creek OHV Area, just north of Oak Ridge, TN, runners will
conquer a wild journey through single track trails of steep climbs, rugged terrain,
and breathtaking mountain views (if you still have any breath left). Best of all, the
race is routed directly through the wind farm- strictly off limits to the general public
under normal circumstances- as Dirty Bird Events has gained exclusive access to this
private area.

The race weekend will offer athletes the opportunity to enjoy Windrock Mountain
in three ways: Move Fast, Get High, and Go Long. It’s an ultra distance in three
stages, certain to push trail runners of all levels to the limit. Whether competing for
